losing myself

journeying

get a closer look...you know you want to

Lost time is never found again. Benjamin Franklin

A journey, that's what these photos are to me. Imagine yourself in her shoes as you begin an adventure, meandering through a straight path, a clean path, the path chosen. It is well marked, and drawn out. Everything around seems to point down this path. So you start to walk, examine things along the way. The wind begins to blow, you're a little confused as you approach the biggest transition in your life- you're entering something new. It seems like it still might be on the right path, but it's new..waiting, waiting, waiting.... still waiting while on the marked path. So you keep on looking, you keep observing but you're surrounded by the hectic world, by the consumers. You hate this. All of a sudden something across the way looks intriguing. You kick off you shoes, feel the grass beneath your feet- it's incredible.  You want to make sure it's okay, so you hide behind the trunk of tree. You peak around, no one is watching. And up you go. It's so beatuiful, so inviting, so much potential. So you just trust and keep climbing. It took a lot to get to this point. And then you peer over, wow. What an incredible view. So peaceful, so filled with purpose. There's hope.
